I use this site to explore my interests in philosophy, economics, reason, music, and life in general. It’s nothing more than a market for me to share my ideas and thoughts publicly. While I am a student of rhetoric, I have no interest in using this as a tool of persuasion. I just want to write. I am a small businessman, a teacher, a writer, a martial artist. I place a lot of importance in the teachings of Unity, the Buddha, Quakerism, Taoism, Ayn Rand, Nietzsche, Paramahansa Yogananda, Ludwig von Mises, and Hank Thoreau, just to name a very few. I am opposed to war, but not a true pacifist. I am a follower of both Jesus and the Buddha, but am hesitant to embrace titles, as words betray the nature of the Tao and titles betray the communion of Christ. But at the same time, I am a lover of words. I am a poet and a musician. I am intensely interested in chaos and mysticism, but a believer in reason and science. In fact, I think mysticism is precedent to fact, it is order we have yet to discover. We live in a large, wonderful world. I am interested in discovering it and sharing my findings here.
